Bengaluru: A five-day competition at Rashtriya Military School, Belagavi, is bringing together 175 cadets from five military schools, with football, basketball and boxing sharing the programme with quiz, debate and creative contests.
The Pentangular Meet opened on Tuesday, October 27, according to the Defence Public Relations Office in Bengaluru. The Belagavi meet brings cadets from the five sister institutions together to test their sporting, creative and academic skills.
Five days of sport and academic contests
Football, basketball and boxing are among the sporting events scheduled during the five-day programme. The academic and creative segment includes an inter-school quiz, debate and an on-the-spot competition.
Photographs released with the statement show cadets taking part in football and basketball, alongside moments from the opening programme.
The Defence PRO said the gathering was intended to encourage camaraderie and sportsmanship, as well as competition, among cadets from the participating schools.
