CHIKKABALLAPUR:
A whopping 1,000 acres of land has been earmarked for an industrial area in Chintamani taluk, announced district in-charge minister K Sudhakar on Monday. He was inaugurating 30-km road construction work at a cost of Rs18 crore for various villages in the taluk.
The industrial hub would provide employment to thousands of local youth, the minister said.Â
Earlier, Sudhakar visited the Shri Yoginarayana temple in Kaivara and sought the blessings of Shri Tatayya. Chintamani MLA, former Deputy Speaker of the legislative assembly Krishna Reddy and Kolar MP Muniswamy were present during his visit.Â
