Karnataka’s Covid testing capacity has now gone up to 100, according to Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar.
Sudhakar tweeted on Sunday: “Karnataka now has 100 Covid testing labs — 45 govt and 55 private labs. As of Saturday, we conducted 16,68,511 tests across the state out of which 79.85% (13,32,464) tests are RT-PCR and other method tests. Rest 3,36,047 are Rapid Antigen tests.”

In another tweet, he said: “As promised by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, 665 ambulances have been deployed across Bengaluru city to facilitate movement of Covid and non-Covid patients to Covid care centres and hospitals.”
