BENGALURU: In a bold move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to suspend MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal for a period of six years due to repeated violations of party discipline.
Yatnal, who has faced numerous accusations of disregarding party rules, was recently issued a show-cause notice. Despite assuring party officials that he would adhere to party guidelines, Yatnal continued to act against party interests. As a result, the BJP Central Discipline Committee Secretary, Om Pathak, announced the decision to suspend Yatnal for six years with immediate effect.
Yatnal took to social media to address the suspension, expressing his determination to fight against corruption, nepotism, and promote the development of North Karnataka and Hindutva. He vowed to continue serving his constituents with unwavering dedication.
In his message, Yatnal expressed gratitude to the party workers, supporters, friends, family, spiritual leaders, media, and the divine for their unwavering support.
