Chikkaballapur: A devastating car accident occurred near Vatadahosahalli in Gauribidanur taluk, resulting in the loss of three lives as a car plunged into a canal. The deceased have been identified as Venagopal (34), Sridhar (35), and lineman Manjappa (35), all employees of BESCOM.
The accident is believed to have occurred during the night and went unnoticed until the early hours of the morning.
The driver of the Brezza car lost control at a bend, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and into the canal. Of the four occupants in the car, three tragically lost their lives, while one miraculously escaped unharmed.
As the car careened into the canal, one passenger was ejected from the vehicle and became entangled in a nearby tree.
