BENGALURU:
A horrifying accident in the early hours of the morning in Silicon City has been captured on CCTV footage.
The driver, who was recklessly maneuvering without any regard for safety, collided with a pedestrian standing on the side of the road before crashing into an electric pole, resulting in severe damage to the front of the vehicle.
This unfortunate incident took place at 7:15 am today, but thankfully, two individuals managed to escape with their lives intact.
At the time of the accident, Appanna, a local resident riding a bike, and Srinivas, a manager in a private company engrossed in a phone conversation, were both struck by the out-of-control vehicle. Appanna, propelled by the impact, suffered a head injury, while Srinivas sustained a serious leg injury. Both victims are currently receiving medical treatment.
Following the collision, the vehicle collided with an electric pole, causing significant damage to its front end.
The Whitefield Traffic Police Station, responsible for registering the case, promptly apprehended the driver and is currently conducting a thorough investigation.
