Hubballi: A tragic accident occurred while filming a viral reel involving high-speed motorcycle and luxury car maneuvers, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Namish Sangald. The son of BJP leader Veeresh Sangald, Namish was recording a video while riding a scooter and driving an Audi when the incident took place.
Namish, a 9th-grade student in Mysuru, had returned home to Hubballi for the Yugadi festival break. The accident happened on Thursday when he and his friends went to Shejavadhakar to film stunts with the high-speed scooter and Audi, which had gained popularity on social media. The Audi was being driven by another 18-year-old boy.
While recording the reels, the speeding Audi collided with the scooter that Namish was riding. The impact resulted in Namish’s immediate death at the scene. Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar visited the site to assess the situation. A case has been registered at the Vidyanagar police station, and authorities are interrogating the underage driver responsible for the accident. Police are also investigating how a minor was allowed to drive a luxury car without a license.
