MANGALURU: Three people were hospitalised reportedly after consuming tender coconut water at a popular joint at Adyar Kannur here on Wednesday. Following the incident, samples of tender coconut water have been sent for testing.
Some residents of Adyar Kannur and Thumbe Parisara reportedly developed symptoms of vomitting and diarrhoea after consuming tender coconut water at Naturals Bonda Factory in Adyar, a popular ice cream joint. About 12 people were treated as outpatients in hospitals.
Following the incident, health officials visited the Bonda Factory and collected samples for testing. They also visited the hospital and checked on the health of those undergoing treatment.
