His post said people should sneeze in public and spread virus
The Bengaluru police have detained a person who was spreading malicious propaganda regarding the coronavirus on a social media platform. He has been identified as Mujeeb Mohammad (24), a resident of Bengaluru who works in a software company.
He had put out a post saying people should go out and sneeze and spread the virus. On Friday, CCB joint commissioner Sandeep Patil ordered his detention.
The reason for his anti-social rant about spreading the virus is not known. Mujeeb is working with Infosys in Bangalore.
