BENGALURU:
Silver Medal winner in Kabbadi Usha Rani was among 60 individuals and 5 organisations selected for Rajyotsava Award by the Karnataka Government to mark the 65th State reorganisation day on November 1.
The award, carrying Rs One lakh cash, a 20 gram gold medal and a citation would be presented on November 7 by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at a function to be held at Ravindra Kalakshetra in the city, Kannada and Culture Minister C T Ravi told mediapersons here on Wednesday.
The Award presentation, which was usually held on Rajyotsava Day, was postponed to November 7 and only limited people will be invited due to Covid-19 scare. (Agency)
