Siddaramaiah Reiterates Zero Tolerance for Honey Trap Scandal

Date:

BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has firmly stated that there will be no protection granted to anyone involved in the honey trap scandal.

On Friday morning, during a assembly session, opposition leader R. Ashoka, MLA Araga Jnanendra, MLA Sunil Kumar, and Karnataka Minister K.N. Rajanna brought up the issue of the honey trap and demanded accountability. They emphasized the importance of holding those responsible to a high standard and upholding the integrity of the assembly.

In response, the Chief Minister’s office called for a thorough and impartial investigation.

Regardless of the individuals involved, it is the government’s duty to ensure the safety and security of its citizens. Those found guilty of wrongdoing must face the consequences according to the law. If Rajanna registers a complaint regarding the honey trap, a comprehensive investigation will be conducted. The Home Minister has made it clear.

The Chief Minister reiterated that there will be no leniency shown to anyone implicated in the scandal.”
