BENGALURU:
CCB police have busted aprostitution racket in the Puttenahalli police station limits and arrested 3 persons. An ACP-led CCB women’s wing conducted the raid.
A total of 27 young women were rescued, including 9 from Nepal, 4 from Punjab, 1 from Delhi, 2 from Jammu & Kashmir and 1 from Maharashtra.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil tweeted: “CCB women’s wing led by ACP Mudvi detected a prostitution and illegal womaun trafficking racket. CCB raided brothel centre being run in Puttenahalli, Main pimp Yogesh arrested. Over 27 women from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have been rescued.”
