The Electricity Department has issued an ultimatum to Sambhal MP Zia Ur Rehman Barq to clarify the Rs 1.91 crore fine pending against him by March 7, due to allegations of power theft. This comes after the MP’s lawyer requested additional time during a meeting on February 7.
