ROB collapses in Hassan

BENGALURU:

A rail overbridge under construction collapsed in Hassan on Thursday .

The work on the overbridge, opposite the new bus station, has been going on for a year. In the incident, four heavy-duty cement pillars collapsed.

The overbridge, a joint venture of the state and Central governments, had been a long-pending demand of locals.
