BENGALURU :
Economically backward members of the Brahmin community in the state can get caste and income certificates which will help them benefit from various government schemes.
This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Govind M Karjol on Thursday. He said the state government’s step is in line with the Centre’s reservation in education and employment for all economically backward communities.
The Revenue Department has directed the district authorities to issue caste and income certificates to eligible Brahmins.
