BBMP commissioner B H Anil Kumar found support from rather unlikely quarters after the Poura karmikas’ union came to his defence over a corruption charge.
On Monday, RTI activist KM Veeresh had filed 7 complaints with the Anti-Corruption Bureau regarding misappropriation of taxpayers’ money.
However, on Tuesday, union president Dadi Babu and BBMP officers and employees welfare association’s president A Amruth Raj claimed that the complaint filed against the BBMP commissioner was baseless.
