Official’s chamber and three floors in BBMP HQ sealed
BENGALURU:
Infected Padarayanapura corporator Imran Pasha’s contacts are now feeling the heat. With BBMP Assistant Commissioner (education) Nagendra Naik being confirmed Covid-19 positive on Monday, other officials who were in contact with Pasha are panicking.
The corporator was in close touch with Nagendra Naik and another special commissioner- rank officer who has gone into self-quarantine. Worryingly, Naik had recently felicitated some retired employees of BBMP’s education wing in the office of the education standing committee.
As soon as news of Naik’s posItive status spread in BBMP’s head office, his office in the Annexure III building and three floors were sealed and sanitized. Naik is a KAS officer currently on deputation with BBMP.
