Govt appeals to co-passengers to get checked
BENGALURU:
After two persons who had travelled by KSRTC buses tested positive for Covid-19, the Karnataka government has appealed to all the co-passengers of the two to get themselves checked at the nearest district hospital.
Of the person who travelled from Bengaluru to Mangaluru, KSRTC tweeted: “One passenger who travelled in KSRTC’s Karnataka Sarige bus reported Covid-19 positive. The bus No. KA-19F 3329 left Bangalore for Mangalore on 21-03-2020 @ 4.30 pm. The passengers who travelled in the said bus are requested to immediately visit your nearest district hospital for a check-up.”
Of the person who travelled to Davanagere, the corporation tweeted: “One person reported Covid-19 positive, who travelled in our bus from Bangalore to Davanagere on 18/03/2020 by Rajahamsa bus No. KA-57F 3802 at 10 am (morning) departed from Bangalore Majestic Bus Stand. The passengers who travelled in the bus are requested to report immediately to the district hospital for a check-up.”
