Supporters of MLA Zameer Ahmed show servility, not sanitary sensibility

Neta worship at its worst was on display on Wednesday, as supporters of MLA Zameer Ahmed offered ‘pada pooja’ to their leader, throwing to the winds all social distancing norms.

A video accessed by thebengalurulive shows supporters of the former minister washing his feet and placing flowers on them. The event was held in Chamarajpet, and the crowd was unconcerned about the need for masks or social distancing.
