Amit Shah, BL Santhosh calls Sudhakar, wishes family a speedy recovery
BENGALURU:
Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar has once again gone into voluntary home quarantine after his wife, daughter, father and a domestic help tested positive for Covid-19.
This is the second time Dr Sudhakar has isolated himself. The earlier occasion was when he and other ministers came in contact with a video journalist who later tested positive.
On Monday, Dr Sudhakar’s father and domestic help tested positive, while on Tuesday his wife and daughter were reported positive. Though he and his two sons tested negative, Sudhakar chose to go into quarantine.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP’s National general secretary BL Santhosh spoke to Sudhakar over the phone and wished the family a speedy recovery. Sudhakar tweeted: “Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji spoke to me and enquired about the well-being of my family members who tested positive for COVID19 & wished them speedy recovery. I am grateful to Shri Amit Shah ji for his kind gesture and good wishes to me and my family.”
