Maheshwar Rao on Central stint with ISRO

In a reshuffle of senior bureaucrats, Maheshwar Rao (1995 IAS batch) was on Wednesday posted on Central government deputation to ISRO.

Rao was Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, as well as Principal Secretary, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).

With Rao on Central deputation, the Karnataka government has posted Mahendra Jain (1985 IAS batch) as Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department, relieving him from the Food and Civil Supplies Department, while nobody was posted to the post of DIPR principal secretary.
