Bengaluru: A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus caught fire near Lulu Mall in Bengaluru on its journey from Majestic to Shivamogga. The incident occurred around 10:20 PM when flames reportedly erupted in the bus, believed to be due to a diesel leak.
As the bus approached Lulu Mall, the fire was detected, prompting immediate action from the bus staff, who evacuated all passengers safely. Firefighters arrived at the scene promptly to extinguish the flames, which completely engulfed the bus. Eyewitnesses reported that two batteries inside the bus were also severely burned.
