Two-dose vaccination remains compulsory for visitors from Maharashtra, says Karnataka order
BENGALURU:
In a major protocol change, the Karnataka government has waived the requirement of negative RT-PCR reports former arrivals in the state from Maharashtra.

The state government issued an order to this effect on Friday night. “In view of the current Covid-19 situation, the mandate of possessing an RT-PCR negative test report shall be discontinued for those arriving from the state of Maharashtra (by air, railways, road transport and personal vehicles). However, the production of a two-dose/full-dose vaccination certificate shall be continued with strict enforcement,” said the order signed by TK Anil Kumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare.
