We cannot tolerate such online abuse of India’s first Chief of Defence Staff: Jnanendra
BENGALURU:
Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has instructed the state police to take stern action against those who posted derogatory remarks on social media following the tragic death on Wednesday of Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat in a chopper crash in Tamil Nadu.
The Minister, taking strong exception to some posts by ‘perverted minds’ on social media over the demise of the country’s first Chief of Defence Staff, said on Saturday that “the culprits should be brought to book.”
(2/2)@CMofKarnataka

Directions to DGP Sood
Jnanendra has also spoken on the issue to Karnataka police chief Praveen Sood, and directed that exemplary action be taken against such persons.
“We cannot tolerate such things, berating our brave officer, who had contributed immensely for the noble cause of our nation so that our tri-colour would flutter sky-high,” he said.
