BENGALURU:

Following a high-level meeting on Covid management and reopening of schools and colleges, chaired by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday, it was decided to resume physical classes for standards 9, 10 and PUC from August 23 in Karnataka.

The decision follows the CM’s detailed discussion with experts and senior government officials on the reopening of primary and high schools. It was also decided that, based on the Covid situation, a decision on reopening of primary schools and standard 8 would be taken by the end of August.
