BENGALURU:

The Karnataka Chief Secretary’s personal assistant Tukaram Kalyankar has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Urban Development Department.

‘Major task’

Tukaram Kalyankar will have the responsibility of handling BBMP-related affairs in the Urban Development Department.

Of the rank of Under Secretary, his new post is in the ‘administrative interest’, reads the government order.
