Bengaluru: Retired Justice Desai has submitted a detailed six-volume investigation report to the Karnataka government, outlining alleged irregularities in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
The report, which follows a comprehensive probe into MUDA’s land allotment and development schemes, was formally handed over to Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh on behalf of the state government.
Justice Desai was appointed to head the inquiry following mounting allegations of irregular site allotments, land acquisition discrepancies, and procedural violations under MUDA’s jurisdiction in Mysuru.
According to sources, the report contains critical findings and actionable recommendations. The government is expected to review the report closely before initiating administrative or legal action.
A public statement regarding the findings and proposed next steps is likely to follow after internal examination by the concerned departments.
