Suneel Kumar promoted as DGP for one day
Pratap Reddy is new ADGP (Law and Order)
BENGALURU:
Senior IPS officers Amar Kumar Pandey and T Suneel Kumar have been elevated to the post of Director-General of Police with immediate effect.
Pandey (KN 1989), who is currently ADGP (Law and Order), has been promoted as DGP (Training) in place of Padam Kumar Garg, who has been transferred.
Kumar (KN 1989), currently ADGP (Anti-Corruption Bureau), has been promoted as DGP ( CID, Special Units and Economic Offences) in place of PS Sandhu, who has been transferred. Kumar will retire on October 30 and will end up on DGP post for one day.
Meanwhile, CH Pratap Reddy (IPS, KN 1991), who is currently ADGP (Communication, Logistics and Modernisation) has been given the concurrent post of ADGP (Law and Order).
