BENGALURU:
Apparently despairing at having tested positive for the coronavirus, a KSRP constable committed suicide en route to a hospital in the city on Monday.
The 50-year-old head constable reportedly hanged himself by tying his lungi to a grill in the KSRP bus taking him to CV Raman Hospital, Indiranagar. The incident was discovered only when the bus arrived at the hospital.
Fear of the unknown is the worst fear and sometimes proves to be fatal too. We lost our soldier Manjesh of 4 th Bn last night ,when after testing positive he committed suicide . Shocking incident for us. Immunity and self belief are the two most important weapons to fight Covid. pic.twitter.com/b1FmkRWdTg
