Hoysala Patrol Vehicle Pursued by Citizens for Allegedly Extorting Money from Shopkeepers

BENGALURU: In a startling turn of events, a Hoysala patrol squad found themselves being chased by vigilant citizens while reportedly extorting money from shopkeepers. The incident, which took place in Bengaluru, has sparked outrage among the community.

According to witnesses, the Hoysala patrol vehicle police were caught in the act of collecting money from local businesses during their duty hours. The citizens, upon noticing this illegal activity, immediately took action by confronting the officers. In a desperate attempt to evade capture, the patrol squad hastily fled the scene in their Hoysala vehicle.

Video footage of the incident shows brave citizens chasing after the patrol vehicle, shouting “police kalla, police kalla” (police thief) in an effort to halt their escape. Despite their efforts, the officers managed to speed away, leaving the community in shock.

The video has since been shared on social media platforms, prompting concerned netizens to tag the Bengaluru City police. Authorities are currently reviewing the footage to identify the location of the incident and determine which officers were involved. Such behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of law enforcement, said an officer.
