Like Yediyurappa, former CM had toured bypoll-bound areas of state
BENGALURU:
The deadly coronavirus makes no distinction between ordinary people and VIPs. After Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa tested positive for Covid-19 — for the second time in a year — and was admitted, also for the second time, in the high-profile Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru, it is the turn of former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy to test positive.
Kumaraswamy announced the development via Twitter on Saturday. He tweeted: “I have tested positive for Covid-19. I request everyone who came in close contact with me over the last few days to isolate themselves and get tested.”

Like Yediyurappa, Kumaraswamy had also extensively toured bypoll-bound constituencies in North Karnataka which are going to the polls on Saturday.
