Karnataka health infra being ramped up to control Omicron: Bommai

BENGALURU:

Stringent measures have been taken to control cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, and more effective measures will be taken to ramp up health infrastructure like supply of medicines and ICU beds, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Friday.

Speaking to media persons, he said Karnataka is among 8 states in the country which are witnessing a rise in Omicron cases, and the state government has taken it seriously.
