Donations pour in for Bannerghatta zoo

Donors to Bengaluru’s iconic wildlife park include Nagravision, Naadopaasana, Ashraya Hasta and Rallis India

BENGALURU:

Bannerghatta Biological Park has received major contributions from the following organisations towards animal adoption and staff welfare.

· M/s Nagravision India Private Limited has donated Rs 12 lakh towards animal feeding and staff salaries.

· 23 engineers from the Naadopaasana organization headed D Udayashankar, Chief Engineer, PWD, have adopted 21 animals as well as contributed towards staff welfare funds by donating Rs 6.12 lakh.

· Ashraya Hasta Trust has adopted 92 animals by donating Rs 3,02,875 for the 1st quarter of the year and has agreed to continue itsr support for the next 3 quarters.

· Rallis India has adopted a Royal Bengal Tiger, an Indian Leopard and a Sloth bear for the second consecutive year by donating Rs 1.70 lakh.

The funds received will be utilised for the feed and veterinary care of zoo animals as well as for staff welfare.
