A woman filed a complaint with the police stating that her pet dog had attacked another woman while she was walking on the road. In a fit of rage, the dog’s owner retaliated by setting fire to two vehicles belonging to the woman and her son. The Kottanur police have now apprehended the dog owner, Nanjunda Babu, in connection with the incident.
On June 13, a woman named Pushpa was bitten by a pet dog while walking near the Venugopala Swamy temple in Kottanur. Disturbed by the incident, Pushpa reported the matter to the police. The dog’s owner had previously threatened her, vowing not to leave her alone. Additionally, there was a financial dispute between Pushpa and the dog owner, as she had used the money from the dog bite incident for her hospital treatment. In retaliation, the dog owner set fire to the motorcycles parked near Pushpa’s residence. Following the arson attack, a formal complaint was lodged with the Kottanur police station, leading to the arrest of the accused.
On June 13, while on her way to work, Pushpa was attacked by a pet dog. Witnessing the incident, Babu and Gayatri promptly took Pushpa to the hospital for treatment. Concerned for her safety, they encouraged Pushpa and her son to report the incident to the police. Subsequently, Pushpa filed a complaint against the dog’s owner. In a fit of anger, Nanjunda Babu retaliated by setting fire to the complainant’s motorcycles. As a result, both Pushpa and her son’s vehicle were destroyed in the fire.
