Covid scare keeps courts closed till Aug 7

Amid the increase in Covid cases in the city and the state, the Karnataka High Court as well as all district and trial courts will remain closed till August 7.

Registrar General Rajendra Badamikar, in an order issued on behalf of the Chief Justice, said: “It is specifically clarified that this extension will not affect the present limited functioning of all the courts, including the High Court of Karnataka, as per the prevailing Standard Operating Procedures.”
