Chikkamagalur | Entry to Datta Peetha and Mullayyanagiri barred from November 4 to November 6

CHIKKAMAGALUR:

Tourist entry to Datta Peetha and Mullayyanagiri, two popular destinations in Chikkamagalur, Karnataka, will be restricted for three days starting from November 4. This decision has been made by the district administration in light of the upcoming Datta Mala Abhiyan event.

During this period, visitors will not be allowed to enter Datta Peetha, Seetalayyanagiri, Mullayyanagiri, Honnammanahalla, Manikyadhara Falls, and Galikere. The restriction will be in effect from 6 am on November 4 until 10 am on November 6.

The Datta Mala Abhiyan, scheduled from October 30 to November 5 near Mullayyanagiri, has prompted the district administration to take this precautionary measure. The deputy commissioner and the police superintendent have personally inspected the locations to ensure the smooth implementation of the restriction.
