CCB bust IPL betting rackets

BENGALURU:

CCB sleuths have busted two cricket betting rackets in the city. Six persons were arrested in raids at Banaswadi and Malleswaram, and Rs 6 lakh in cash was seized.

It is alleged that the accused were organising betting on the ongoing IPL matches.

Joint Commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil tweeted, “CCB arrest 6 accused..organising cricket betting during the ongoing IPL..Rs 6 lakh seized.. further investigation on..”
