BIDAR:
Tragedy struck on Sunday night as two young men lost their lives in a devastating gas leak at a chemical factory located in the industrial area on the outskirts of Humanabad town.
The victims have been identified as Muhammad Shabad (21), a resident of Waddanakera village in Humnabad taluk, and Indrajeet from the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The incident occurred during the late hours of Sunday night at Shree Prasanna Pre-Processing Limited Company, a prominent chemical factory. Shabad and Indrajeet, who were on the night shift, tragically succumbed to the gas leak.
In response to the incident, District Collector Govinda Reddy, District Superintendent of Police Channabasavanna S.L., and other officials promptly visited the site to assess the situation.
Fortunately, no gas had escaped into the surrounding environment, providing reassurance to the public. District Collector Govinda Reddy emphasized that there is no cause for concern.
