In an effort to raise public awareness and prevent electrical accidents, a public awareness campaign on electrical safety was organized by Bescom’s Bangalore City North Zone (BMAZ) on Friday.

The campaign saw the participation of BESCOM Assistant Engineers, Executive Engineers, Central Committee Members of BESCOM Employees Association, Local Committee Members, Officers, and Staff. Its main objective was to educate the public about electrical safety rules in their respective sub-divisions of BESCOM.

The event aimed to emphasize the importance of electrical safety and highlight the potential dangers associated with mishandling electricity. By organizing this jatha, Bescom sought to empower individuals with the knowledge and understanding necessary to prevent accidents and protect themselves and their communities.

Through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and informative materials, the campaign aimed to engage the public and provide them with practical tips and guidelines for safe electrical practices. By promoting awareness and education, Bescom hopes to reduce the number of electrical accidents and create a safer environment for all.

This initiative reflects Bescom’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of the public and its dedication to promoting a culture of safety. By actively involving its employees and local committees, Bescom demonstrates its proactive approach towards preventing accidents and fostering a sense of responsibility among its stakeholders.

Moving forward, Bescom will continue to organize such awareness campaigns and collaborate with various stakeholders to further enhance electrical safety practices. By working together, we can create a safer and more secure environment for everyone, said an official.
