BENGALURU:
The Bengaluru’s Namma Metro introduces National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) aligned with One Nation One Card initiative — Communters can make use of it from August 21 at metro stations and through mobile app registration.
The RuPay NCMC can be used nationally for metro, retail, and petrol stations, replacing Contactless Smart Cards (CSC). Available from August 21 at metro stations and through mobile app registration.
The NCMC cards will be available for purchase at Namma Metro stations during operational hours and contactless smart cards will have restricted sales from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
on Saturday, Anjum Parwez, BMRCL managing director, and Shantanu Roy, chairman and managing director of BEML Ltd., exchanged the contract agreement for supply of 318 coaches for phases 2, 2A, and 2B of Namma Metro.
