A shocking incident occurred on Thursday on Badarahalli Pipeline Road, where four robbers targeted a jewelry store owner, shooting him and making off with one kilogram of gold jewelry.
The four robbers arrived on two motorcycles at Vinayak Jewelry Shop around 2 a.m., threatening the owner, Manoj Lohar, in an attempt to rob him. When Manoj bravely tried to intervene, they shot him in the thigh and swiftly stole one kilogram of gold from the store.
In a desperate bid to apprehend the fleeing robbers, Manoj pursued them, causing the criminals to abandon their motorcycles and escape on foot. Fortunately, despite being injured by the gunshot, Manoj managed to escape unharmed. DPC West S. Girish informed reporters that four dedicated teams have been assembled to capture the robbers.
