BBMP’s decision to transfer Swamy has been perceived by many as an attempt to quell the growing public backlash. The victims have been identified as Mudassir and Muzammil. According to preliminary reports, the toddlers were playing near the lake when they accidentally slipped and fell into the water. Despite efforts by locals and family members, the children could not be rescued in time.
