Aerialworks Aero LLP will use safe organic disinfectants; KSPCB will monitor process
BENGALURU:
Over the next three days, organic disinfectants will be aerially sprayed over highly populated areas of the city.
On Saturday, Revenue Minister R Ashoka inaugurated the pilot project in the presence of BDA Chairman SR Vishwanath, Aerialworks Aero LLP Capt Murali Ramakrishna, Capt Nagesh, BBMP Administrator Rakesh Singh and Revenue Department Principal Secretary N Manjunatha Prasad.
Aerialworks Aero LLP has received clearances from the concerned authorities. The platform has a capacity of up to 300 litres and can spray about 300 hectares in an hour at low altitudes. The work will start from Monday in the Shivajinagar and KR Market areas.
Aerialworks Aero LLP is an aerial spraying company working in pollution, mosquito, locust and flood-affected areas to control the spread of airborne diseases. The firm under Capt Murali Ramakrishna specialises in executing such operations in Africa and the US. It will be using two different organic liquids to see the best results.
Two disinfectants
