BENGALURU:
Sunday was a mournful day for Sandalwood after popular actor Chiranjeevi Sarja died here following a heart attack.
The 39-year-old actor had breathing problems and was taken to a hospital on Saturday. The family did not think it was a cardiovascular disease because of his young age. But he had a cardiac arrest and the doctors could not revive him despite their best efforts.
In line with current guidelines, his swab sample has been sent for tests.
The actor’s body has been kept for formalities at the Sagar Hospital in Jayanagar.
Chiranjeevi Sarja was engaged to actress Meghna Raj in 2017 and had married two years ago.
