G Janardhana Reddy: We Will Not Align with BJP or Any Other Party

During a press conference held at a private hotel after assuming office as the President of the Kalyan Rajya Pragati Party, Reddy emphasized that they will not even contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 28 constituencies. He further stated that his focus lies in the districts of Bellary, Bidar, Kalaburgi, Koppala, Raichur, and Kolar, where he has been actively working.

Reddy, who hails from Bellary, expressed his confidence in the support he receives from the people, even in Kolar. He boldly claimed that his party will come to power in the 2028 assembly elections, securing an impressive 100 to 113 seats. Drawing inspiration from successful regional parties in other states, Reddy firmly believes that his party can achieve what no other regional party has accomplished in Karnataka.

Highlighting the humble beginnings of regional parties, Reddy pointed out that even the BJP started with just two seats. Similarly, the Kalyan Rajya Pragati Party has begun its journey with a single seat. Reddy outlined his ambitious plan to expand the party’s reach, promising to establish a presence at every booth level and engage with voters door to door.

The press conference was attended by former party president J. Ramanna, who showed his support for Reddy’s leadership.
