KPTCL Reviews 400 kV Power Transmission Project to Boost Karnataka’s Grid Capacity
Bengaluru: KPTCL Managing Director Dr. Ram Prasath Manohar conducted a high-level review meeting at the corporation’s headquarters to assess the progress of the ongoing 400 kV power transmission project across Karnataka.
The project is aimed at strengthening the state’s electricity transmission network and ensuring long-term reliability of the grid, particularly in the context of rising power demand and changing load patterns.
Officials were briefed on the status of various components of the high-voltage infrastructure, with emphasis on timely execution and operational efficiency. The project is expected to play a crucial role in building a robust foundation for Karnataka’s future energy needs.
Key priorities highlighted during the meeting included strengthening the transmission network, ensuring completion of works within stipulated timelines, and maintaining smooth and uninterrupted power flow across the grid.
