‘We’ll Decide Our Stand After RSS Leadership Discusses the Move’

Joshi clarified that the RSS leadership will decide the organization’s response once the official circular from the government is issued.

“Let the circular come. The senior RSS functionaries will study it first, and after that, we will take an appropriate decision. This is not something new — they are just trying to follow the Tamil Nadu model. But even that has been challenged in the court. The state government should study what happened there before imitating it,” Joshi remarked.

He added that the ruling Congress is “trying to divert attention” by repeatedly bringing up the RSS issue. “Their agenda is diversion. They have failed in governance, so they are using RSS as a political target to change the narrative,” he said.

‘We Won’t Fall Into Their Trap’

The Minister made it clear that the BJP and Sangh organizations would not be provoked.

“We don’t want to give them the reaction they are seeking. The moment we respond, they will spin it politically. We will act only after the RSS leadership takes a formal position,” he asserted.

Joshi also noted that issuing circulars restricting RSS activities on government premises would only expose the government’s political vendetta.

“Once the government issues such a circular and tries to implement it, it will amount to placing restrictions on an organization that has worked selflessly for society. We will decide our future course of action based on how the RSS leadership evaluates it,” he said.
