BENGALURU: A 68-year-old resident of the city has approached the Koramangala police after he was allegedly honeytrapped by a 25-year-old woman and asked to pay up Rs 2 crore.
Two youths allegedly approached the senior citizen and demanded Rs 2 crore, threatening to upload his private videos on social media. The youths met him at a coffee bar in Koramangala and finally struck a deal for Rs 40 lakh.
The youths gave him 2-3 days time to pay up the money and threatened to upload his videos on social media. However, the senior citizen told the police that the videos have been edited. The Koramangala police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
