CCB sleuths raid bookies, seize Rs 21 lakh cash
BENGALURU:
CCB sleuths have unearthed 4 betting rackets in the city in connection with the ongoing IPL matches and seized Rs 21 lakh.
The sleuths raided the houses of cricket bookies Balram and Nagendra in KR Puram, and seized Rs 10 lakh and 12 mobile phones. The accused and the seized items were handed into the custody of the KR Puram police station.

Similarly, a betting racket involving the match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals in the UAE on October 14 was unearthed following a raid at the Lokesh Chicken and Mutton Centre store on Nagindanahalli Munising Road in the Whitefield police station limits.
