BENGALURU:

Karnataka’s Covid-19 toll is now 13, following the death of a Bengaluru resident late on Wednesday night. The 66-year-old man died in a city hospital, and is the 7th death reported statewide in the last three days.

The elderly man was listed as patient 195, and died in Victoria Hospital. Officials claims he returned from Manipur on March 12 and was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI).

He was first admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru and later admitted to Victoria. State health officials say he was on ventilator support since April 10.
